Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

As part of the OC Golf Junior Summer camp series be sure to check out the Junior Golf Programs offered by Tijeras Creek Golf Club. Tijeras Creek Golf School employs only PGA trained and Tijeras Creek Golf Club certified teaching professionals. Our professionals are highly qualified in teaching methods and communication with students. All lessons held at Tijeras Creek Golf Club are guaranteed to each student’s complete satisfaction.

Located in Rancho Santa Margarita, just minutes from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport, The Ted Robinson-designed Tijeras Creek Golf Club is the tale of two nines. The distinctive course layout at Tijeras Creek opens with a demanding front nine that is highlighted with shimmering water features that come into play in four out of the first nine holes. The back nine holes are legendary for the breathtaking scenery, and awe-inspiring elevation changes that wind through old growth sycamores, oaks and native chaparral. In fact, hole number sixteen was voted one of Orange County’s Best 18 Holes by members of the Southern California PGA.
This premier facility just got better, as the course recently completed a dramatic renovation that included a complete bunker redesign supervised by renowned golf course architect Dick Bailey. Many of the bunkers on the course were re-sculpted and all of them were filled with brilliant white San Juan Capistrano sand.
Tijeras Creek Golf Club is now managed by OB Sports Golf Management. OB Sports is a diversified, golf-oriented company with a long history of success, and since 1972, has an unparalleled reputation as a premier operator and of quality and award winning golf courses throughout the western United States and Mexico.
