6th Annual Hilda Pacheco-Taylor Golf Tournament

Monday, May 25th, 2009

The 6th Annual Hilda Pacheco-Taylor Golf Tournament will be held August 2, 2009 at the Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine.

Hit your ball into a sand trap… help us feed kids.    Tap in a 45′ putt for a birdie … help us raise awareness of the need in Baja for homeless children.   Either way, you are a winner in the heart of a child

The Corazon de Vida Foundation is the premier charitable organization in the United States that provides support for the homeless children of Baja California, Mexico. Please support them for a round of golf and help us continue our vision – “That every child in the world has someone committed to the possibility that their life hold the same excitement and opportunity as the most fortunate child on earth”.

All proceeds benefit the orphans of Baja California through the Corazon de Vida Foundation, a 501 c 3 non profit organization, tax ID 33-0707788. Please join us for a day on the course and play a round for the kids.

The Child Abuse Prevention Center is committed to breaking the generational cycle of child abuse, domestic violence and teen pregnancy in Orange County.

Overview

The Child Abuse Prevention Center is the county’s leading not-for-profit organization focused exclusively on the prevention of child abuse. Our early intervention programs have a well-documented record of strengthening and improving parent-child relationships, working to prevent child abuse before it occurs.

Our goals are accomplished by matching families at risk of child abuse with professional social workers to work with them in their homes. The goal of the intervention is to replace old patterns of abuse with nurturing parenting styles, as well as to empower parents to become financially self-sufficient.

The Child Abuse Prevention Center is a 501(c)3 tax exempt entity and one of 100 centers nationwide sponsored in part by the National Exchange Club Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
